Operations Maintenance Coordinator
Worked at St. Croix Tissue since 2015
"I graduated from UMaine with a degree in Biology, later obtaining my Veterinary Technology degree. After working in this field 8 years, I was hired by the brand new St Croix Tissue(SCT). Here, I have worked as a machine operator, in quality, as a tissue machine Superintendent, and now an operations maintenance coordinator. I enjoy working at SCT because there is always more to learn. No two days are ever the same. Why do I like living here? I enjoy the natural landscape; hiking, boating, swimming, gardening and generally being outside." ~ Sara Krug
Tissue Machine 2 Superintendent
Worked at St. Croix Tissue since 2018
"I graduated from UMaine in May 2018 with a degree in chemical engineering and shortly after started working at St. Croix Tissue as a Process Engineer in the operations department. It has been a great experience because SCT has allowed me to explore facets of the business that interest me. For instance, I've shown an interest in the production side of operations and have just started a new role as TM2 Superintendent. There is a very collaborative mindset at SCT where everyone works toward producing a quality product safely and efficiently. This area is beautiful and filled with friendly people. It is also in close proximity to St. John, NB which gives me the opportunity to visit a fun city if I’m looking for a more urban experience. Overall, St. Croix has been a great place to begin my career." ~ Caleb Martin
