St. Croix Tissue Partners with Life Cycle Engineering for Reliability Excellence Initiative

St. Croix Tissue has announced its partnership with Life Cycle Engineering (LCE)  for the implementation of a Reliability Excellence® (Rx) initiative at St. Croix’s pulp and paper facility in Baileyville, Maine. Life Cycle Engineering will design and implement a Reliability Excellence (Rx) Asset Management System that aligns with St. Croix’s business improvement strategy.

LCE will execute an effective holistic system and culture of Rx in alignment with ISO 55000 and 55001 standards. The project’s results will be demonstrated through a comprehensive set of key process indicators (KPI), and will ultimately support and achieve the business case for this initiative. Successful design and implementation will come from the engagement and ownership of St Croix Tissue’s employees through LCE’s guidance as an experienced consultancy partner.

Reliability Excellence (Rx) is a comprehensive system for empowering people, leveraging information and technology, and maintaining physical and non-physical assets. This system is a team-based, collaborative effort that utilizes every employee’s knowledge and experience to establish best in class standards for throughput, quality, and total cost of ownership over the entire asset life cycle. With improved reliability also comes improved costs, profitability, safety, and the opportunity to earn new investments to sustain the facilities for future generations.
